AAAMC Speaks
“AAAMC Speaks” is a documentary series that brings the Archives of African American Music and Culture’s unique holdings alive through conversations with industry leaders and scholars. In each 20-minute episode, Tyron Cooper, Ph.D., Director of the Archives of African American Music & Culture (AAAMC) and Associate Professor of African American and African Diaspora Studies, brings the collections alive through interviews with music industry icons, current innovative professionals, and academics.
My role in this documentary series was as the head producer of Episode 4 on Dr. Portia Maultsby, the founder of AAAMC at Indiana University. I co-edited the episode using Premiere Pro and After Effects.
This episode was awarded Best Editing at the 2022 Hoosier Films Annual Festival.
